Quiet Hours

Here at Blue Springs we try our hardest to maintain a family atmosphere.  We have enforced quiet hours beginning at 11pm and ending at 7am.  Quiet hours means all radios must be turned off and you are to be courteous of your neighbor regarding your noise level.  Our quiet hours are to ensure that our guests receive a peaceful nights sleep in the outdoors, not to be disrupted by unruly guests.  We have security working to enforce the quiet hours.

If a guest is caught breaking the quiet hours rule, they will be asked by our security to turn off their radios or to be quieter  at their site.  If they cannot be quiet after being asked, they will be removed from the park.

If a camper next to you is being disruptive or inappropriate at any time, the first thing you should do is mention it to security if it is the evening.  If the store is open and you are having trouble locating security please come and tell us and we will get them for you.  If it is after hours, they should be patroling and when you see them driving by, stop them and they will help you.

Pets

Pets are welcome at Blue Springs Ranch!  If you are staying anywhere in the park, your pet must remain on a leash at all times.  Remember that you will not be the only one in the park with a pet, so in order to prevent any accidents or injuries, your pet must remain on a leash at all times.

New in 2008, if you are staying in a cabin, you are allowed to have your pets inside the cabin.  There is an additional fee of $10/night.  Limit two pets.  All pets must be registered with the store.  When checking in a pet, you will be required to sign an agreement stating that you agree to pay for any damages your pet has caused including but not limited to physical damages or extraordinary cleaning.  You will also be required to leave credit card information on file with your signature authorizing us charge your card for additional fees.  You will be made aware of these fees but we reserve the right in advance to charge your credit card.

Check In Procedure

Weekend Cabins

When checking in for a cabin on the weekends, you will need to stop at our campground check in booth.  They will issue you a vehicle information pass and then send you to the store.  When you get to the store one of our friendly clerks will finish helping you check in.  They will register your vehicle, collect the balance of the cabin, issue you a car pass and the keys to your cabin.

Check in time for cabins is not guaranteed until 3 pm, the day of arrival.  Check out time is 11 am.  If you wish to come down to the park early and enjoy the pool or the river, you are more than welcome.  We do let you check in early if your cabin is ready but not before 1 pm.  If you plan to arrive early make arrangements to keep your food cooled, unfortunately we cannot allow you to put food in the cabins either until we have made sure it has been cleaned.

Weekend Camping

When arriving to camp on a Friday or Saturday, you must always check in at the Campground Check in Booth.  Campers may check in to their site as early as noon but it is not guaranteed before 1 pm.  When checking in please give us the site number and/or the name of the person it is reserved under.  We charge per person for camping.  The number of people that are paid for on that site will be the number that are allowed to check in before any more money is collected.

For example:

If 10 people are paid for on one site, we will allow 10 people to check in.  Remember we do not know, unless you tell us, the names of people who are paid or unpaid.  When the 11th person arrives, they will be sent to the store to pay before they are allowed access to the park.  In some cases the 11th person may already be paid under the site but the 7th person was not.  If you are the person responsible for making the reservation, you may want to send us a list of names of people that are paid for on your site.  This way we won’t mistakenly charge them twice.  Remember, we want checking in to be a favorable experience, so the more information you give us the better equipped we are to help you when you arrive.

Once registered we will give you directions to your site and you are ready to get set up!  Rememeber this year that we are showing movies on Friday nights so you may want to plan to check in early so that you don’t miss the movie!! (check the calendar for more movie information)

Sunday – Thursday Cabins or Camping

When arriving to camp or stay in a cabin on the weekday check ins will be done at the store…so come on in and we’ll get you registered!

Floating

When checking in for a float trip you will have a contract that needs to be signed in order for you to be able to board the bus.    You need to be at the bus stop ½ hour before your float if floating on Saturday or Sunday.  If floating during the week, arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to get on the water at the sheduled time.  Our buses leave as close to the scheduled time as possible.  On busy days we have more than one bus.  We load buses first come first serve and according to group size so the sooner you arrive, the sooner you get on the water.

If you are staying in a cabin or camping with us, you can sign your float contract the day of check in and then you will have your pass to go straight to the bus for your float.  If you are just joining us for a float trip, make sure you stop at the store to sign your contract and get your bus pass.  If we have to send you back…you are going to be holding up a bus full of hot people dying to get on the water!!!  Please make sure to arrive early and check in properly.  We are certain you would not want to be the one on the bus in the summer heat waiting for someone else…!
